All you need is...

LOVE is what a group of 23 volunteers had during the Alternative Spring Break of '09. Not everyday was spent at the beach in Savannah, Georgia. The group spent 2 days at Union Mission landscaping at various homeless shelters, and 1 day organizing a Food Pantry's stocks.

Where I come from...

I was born and raised in the small town of Scottsville, Ky. I love it very much, I actually lived in a house very close to this sign.

A little scary

One of our creative projects was to play with shutter speed and flash and try to create images that take advantage of light and posing. One of my favorite projects. I actually had to POSE photos.

Just Dance

The dance classes at WKU hold a dance recital at the colonnades at the beginning of the year.

*POP*

Bubble parties were a common practice for this group of girls on the centennial mall at WKU.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

What brought devastation to some areas of Kentucky brought a beautiful coat of Mother Nature to Bowling Green. The Guthrie Tower seen here on WKU's campus is majestic in any weather.

Wallflower

The itsy, bitsy, spider

There wasn't a cloud in the sky for the itsy, bitsy, spider to worry about. Kristen Tracy and Stephanie Garrett of Scottsville, KY made some nifty shadow puppets on the Centennial Mall at WKU.

Alexander hucks a mean Frisbee

John Bennett Alexander of Glasgow, KY participates in a leisurely game of Ultimate Frisbee.

Stand up and cheer...stand up and cheer for dear old Western!

The Big Red Marching Band is quite possible the heart and soul of the fall at WKU. Where else is the fight song going to get pounded into your heart and uplift your spirit?

O Tannenbaum

Taking Basic this year really opened my eyes to the chances at really neat light. I got to help the King Family of Scottsville, KY decorate their Christmas tree and they got to help me with photography. :) I love Christmas.

Saturday Night Lights

Game days at WKU are pretty big. The first game I was lucky enough to get to rush the field and took a few shots I'm not used to.

Big Red taunts...

My best friends began to taunt Big Red, the Western Kentucky University mascot.
